General Questions

Do all clients access this report?

A: All clients have access to this report through the Reporting tab in their primary account.

Are the reports available to both sellers and affiliates?

A: Yes. The Transaction Report is available to both sellers and affiliates, however, not all the data they receive is the same. For example, the affiliate on the transaction will not see the customer name, customer email, or customer street address. Regional customer information like city, region, and country will be available to both roles.

What’s different between the transaction report in the primary account and the transaction report at the account nickname level?

A: The Transaction Report in the primary account contains more detail than the report provided at the account nickname level. You can access transactions for all nickname accounts linked to their primary account. In your account nickname, you can access transaction details for that particular nickname and use the quick actions to view and reference transaction tickets. In the primary account, daily transactions and test transactions appear on separate tabs. In the primary account, these transactions are included in the transaction table.

In the primary account, what’s the difference between Transaction, under Reporting, and Transactions (as a standalone tab)?

A: Transactions, located under the reporting tab, provides an inline view of transaction records separated by three tabs: Historic, Today, and Test. The data in this report is more detailed, versus the data that is located at the account nickname level.

The Transactions tab, which directs to the Transaction Management page includes quick actions to manage and view details of transactions. You cannot action Transactions from the Reporting tab in the primary account. This is different from how the Transaction report works at the account nickname level.

Data and View Questions

Have any data fields been removed from the report?

A: The following fields have been removed from the report:

  • Display Name

  • Currency

Why are there three tabs for the data?

A: The data is separated into three tabs: historic, daily, and test.

The historic data goes through a nightly reporting job that processes the transactions from the day to assign additional related data. This additional data adds extra insights for clients. The real time, daily data and test data sets do not go through this process and thus “live” on separate tabs to avoid confusion because of the variability between the data sets.

Historic data includes all data up until yesterday. Clients can access the previous two years of data.

What does “Declined Marketing” mean?

A: All ClickBank Clients must abide by the ClickBank Client Contract when determining how and who to market to.

The Do Not Market field is called Declined Marketing. Data values that can be included under this field are:

  • True – meaning that Do Not Marketing regulations apply in the country or region the transaction was made in, and the customer DID decline marketing

  • False – meaning that meaning that Do Not Marketing regulations apply in the country or region the transaction was made in, and the customer DID NOT decline marketing

  • Not Applicable – meaning that Do Not Market regulations are not applicable in the country that the transaction was made in

A: The data in the Transaction Report varies per report tab. Data in Today and Test report tabs are refreshed real time. Historic data is refreshed daily.
