A Paylink is the final output of your offer funnel. It is the checkout link you place on your sales page or pitch page. The Paylink ties everything together: it determines which purchase options appear on your order form, whether buyers choose one item or buy a package, which discount badges display, and which order bumps and post-purchase upsell flows are presented.
Before You Begin
Set up your products in the Product Catalog and configure your Funnel Settings (currency and shipping regions).
Create the Purchase Options, Order Bump Groups, and Upsell Flows you want to include in this offer.
Compliance note: You can assemble a Paylink using items in a Draft state, but customers will only see items approved by compliance. If a Paylink has four purchase options and only two are approved, only the two approved options display at checkout. Unapproved order bumps or upsell flows will similarly be suppressed from live buyers until approved.
1. Start a New Paylink
Navigate to Vendor Settings → Offer Studio → Funnels.
Click the three dots next to your funnel and select Edit.
Scroll to the Paylinks section near the top of the Funnel Builder.
Click + Build a Paylink. The configuration drawer will slide open on the right.
2. Set Paylink Name and Custom URL Slug
In the Paylink Name field, give your link an internal reference name (for example, Daily Wellness).
In the Paylink URL field, enter your custom URL slug (for example,
dailywellness). ClickBank hosts the base domain, while this custom text creates your unique checkout link.Use the inline Copy button whenever you need to grab the full URL for your sales page.
3. Choose an Order Form Template
Under Checkout Page, select your order form layout:
Standard Order Form: ClickBank’s default out-of-the-box layout and styling.
Custom Order Form: A custom template created in your account. Custom forms allow unique button colors, typography, stacked card orientations, and custom badge stylings.
(Exit offers can also be selected here once configured in your account.)
4. Select Purchase Options and Set Default Selection
Under Purchase Options, open the dropdown to select which options from your funnel you want included on this checkout page. You can select one, several, or all of them.
Drag and drop purchase options in the list to rearrange the order they appear on the order form (for example, placing higher-tier or multi-packs at the top).
Choose one purchase option as the Default Selection so that it is pre-selected when the checkout page first loads for a buyer.
5. Set Order Form Behavior
Choose how customers interact with the products on the checkout page:
Customer Chooses One Option (Standard/Recommended): Radio buttons or selection cards let buyers pick exactly one option to check out with (for example, selecting between a 1-bottle, 2-bottle, or 4-bottle tier).
Customer Purchases All Options: The order form acts as an all-in-one package where every selected purchase option is added together into the cart for a single combined total.
6. Configure Advanced Display Settings (Toggles, Badges & Discounts)
When using Customer Chooses One Option, several display enhancements become available:
Group Subscriptions
If you have both one-time and recurring subscription purchase options, turn on Group Subscriptions.
This automatically splits your purchase options into two distinct toggle tabs on the order form: One-Time and Subscribe.
When buyers click Subscribe, rebill frequency and terms automatically display under the selected recurring option.
Rule to remember: If a purchase option contains any recurring product variant (even if combined with a one-time product), ClickBank categorizes the entire purchase option under the subscription group.
Show Quantity Adjuster
Toggle this on to let customers increase or decrease the number of units directly on the checkout form.
Prerequisites: To use this, Edit Quantity must be enabled under Vendor Settings → My Features, and the purchase option’s maximum quantity must be set greater than 1.
Badges
Highlight specific tiers by selecting a callout badge from the dropdown next to any purchase option, such as:
Best Value
Most Popular
Limited Stock
Discount Presentation Styles
If you configured discount data (such as original/strikethrough pricing or dollar discounts) when setting up the purchase option, you can choose how that discount displays:
Amount Off
Full Price
% Off
Strike Through
Was / Now
(On the Standard Order Form, you choose one discount style per option. On Custom Order Forms, you can enable multiple combined discount styles).
7. Attach Order Bumps and Upsell Flows
Scroll down within the Paylink builder to connect post-cart and post-purchase offers:
Order Bumps: Select your pre-configured order bump group (for example, Blender Bottle Add-On or Protein Add-On). The bump checkbox, pricing, and promotional copy will appear directly below the order form cart summary.
Upsell Flow: Select your visual upsell flow (for example, Protein Upsell Flow). While upsell flows cannot be previewed in the initial order form preview drawer (because they trigger after payment), selecting the flow here links it to any customer completing this checkout.
8. Preview, Publish, and Test Your Paylink
Click Apply at any time while configuring your settings to update the interactive preview pane on the right side of the screen.
Once your configuration looks correct, click Publish & Close. Your Paylink will now appear in the Paylinks table inside your funnel.
Click Save & Exit on the Funnel Builder page.
Testing Your Paylink
Click the Copy URL icon next to your published Paylink in the Funnel Builder table.
Paste the link into a new browser window to view the live checkout experience.
Verify that your default option, product tiers, badges, subscription toggles, and order bumps render properly.
To test the end-to-end checkout and post-purchase upsell flow, submit a transaction using a test credit card.
Paylink Troubleshooting & Compliance Checklist
Missing items on live checkout: If a purchase option, bump, or upsell shows in your builder preview but vanishes on the live URL, check Vendor Settings → Offer Studio. Items in Draft or Pending Review status are hidden from live buyers until ClickBank Compliance marks them Approved / Active.
Quantity adjuster not appearing: Ensure Edit Quantity is enabled in Vendor Settings → My Features, the purchase option maximum quantity is greater than 1, and the Show Quantity Adjuster toggle is turned on in the Paylink drawer.
Discount dropdown disabled: Verify that the underlying purchase option has original or strikethrough pricing data entered. If no discount values were saved on the purchase option, styling options remain disabled.
