Overview
ClickBank Sellers offering recurring products can manage subscriptions and view subscription reporting within their ClickBank account. Subscription management at the customer level is done through the ClickBank primary (aka "Master") account view.
Note: If you don't have a primary account, it's easy to create one. Check out the Master Accounts: Linking Multiple ClickBank Accounts article for more information.
Subscription management can also be completed using the ClickBank Order API if you have development experience or a developer on your team. Subscription management is conducted on the customer level. Mass changes to subscription billing dates for multiple customers cannot be made.

How to Assign a Subscription Management Role
Only users (including clerks) granted the Subscription Management role in the account can manage subscriptions. To grant a user these permissions, follow these steps.
Step 1: Log in to your ClickBank account.
Note: Subscription management is only compatible with a ClickBank primary (aka "master") account. If you have not created a primary account, check out this article to learn how.
Step 2: Click the Users tab.
Step 3: Locate the user you wish to grant subscription management permissions to. Then, click Manage Permissions.
Step 4: Check the Manage Tickets, Manage Orders, and Subscription Management boxes for the user you wish to grant subscription management permissions to. Note: All three boxes must be checked to successfully grant permissions.
How to Upgrade or Downgrade a Subscription
ClickBank users with subscription management permissions can change a subscription from one product to another. If you upgrade or downgrade a subscription, the product SKU and subscription frequency are changed, but the number of remaining subscription payments remains the same. If the new subscription product has a free trial period, it is skipped in this instance.
When a subscription is upgraded or downgraded, ClickBank will refund a portion of the previous product's last recurring payment (not including the initial payment). This amount is prorated based on the amount of time remaining in the subscription period after the current day. You can choose not to provide this refund for physical products only.
If the original subscription product was a physical product, the new product must also be a physical product that is shippable to all of the locations covered by the original product. If the original product was a digital product, the new product must also be digital. Both products must use the same currency.
A confirmation email is sent to the customer for each change to the subscription, including the product, the prorated refund if you provide one, and the next bill date if you change it. A new charge email is also sent the morning of the next bill date.
If you have Instant Notifications enabled, upgrading or downgrading a subscription triggers a notification. See the Instant Notification Service (INS) article for more information.
