To help maintain a secure and trusted marketplace, ClickBank requires identity verification for certain account holders. Identity verification helps us:
Protect accounts from unauthorized access and fraud
Comply with applicable financial regulations and compliance requirements
Verify that account information matches the individual operating the account
Maintain the integrity and security of the ClickBank platform
To perform this verification, ClickBank partners with Veriff, a trusted identity verification provider used by organizations around the world. Veriff securely verifies your identity by reviewing a government-issued photo ID and, when required, a live photo (selfie) to confirm that the person completing the verification matches the identification provided.
The verification process is designed to be fast, secure, and straightforward. Your information is processed through Veriff's secure platform and used solely for identity verification and compliance purposes.
Below are answers to some of the most common questions about the identity verification process.
FAQ's
My national ID is damaged and my driver's license is non-biometric. Can I verify with another method or document?
In most countries, Veriff accepts one of the following government-issued identification documents:
Passport
National ID Card
Driver’s License
If one document is damaged or cannot be accepted, please try another valid government-issued document from the list above. The document must be current, clearly legible, and in good condition.
If you do not have any of these accepted documents available, you may be unable to complete verification at this time.
2. I only have a digital version, what should I do?
At this time, digital copies, screenshots, scans, or electronic versions of identification documents are not accepted for identity verification.
You must provide the original physical government-issued document during the verification process.
3. The Verification process doesn't work. What should I do?
If you're experiencing issues with verification:
Close and reopen the verification session.
Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Use the latest version of your web browser.
Try a different supported browser or device.
Confirm that camera permissions are enabled.
Make sure your identification document is clearly visible and well-lit.
If the issue continues after trying these steps, contact Client Success and include details about the error you're seeing.
4. I cannot get the verification process to work from my camera. I have this issue with every program requesting via camera verification. How do I move forward?
Most verification issues are related to device settings, browser permissions, or camera access restrictions.
Please try the following:
Confirm your camera is functioning in other applications.
Check that your browser has permission to access the camera.
Disable browser extensions that may block camera access.
Try a different browser.
Try a different device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
Because identity verification requires a live photo, a working camera is required to complete the process.
5. When a photo is requested to complete the registration, the capturer does not appear on the screen. How can I take a photo without the capturer?
If the camera capture screen does not appear:
Verify that your browser has permission to access your camera.
Refresh the page and restart the verification process.
Close any applications that may already be using the camera.
Try a different browser or device.
If the problem persists, contact Client Success and provide details about your device and browser.
6. The camera doesn't work. What do I do?
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check that your camera is connected and functioning properly.
Confirm camera permissions are enabled in your browser and device settings.
Restart your browser or device.
Try another supported browser.
Use a different device if available.
A working camera is required to complete identity verification.
7. Can I verify now with my Paper ID , then submit my REAL ID when I get it ?
No. Temporary paper IDs and paper identification documents are not accepted for identity verification.
You must wait until you have received your physical government-issued identification document before completing verification.
8. How to complete my registration on ClickBank. I reached the part to confirm identity. But I click and it doesn't take me anywhere. Just the question, can I use your camera?
When prompted, you must allow camera access to continue the identity verification process.
If nothing happens after granting permission:
Refresh the page and try again.
Verify that your browser is not blocking camera access.
Check your browser's site permissions.
Try a different browser or device.
If the issue continues, contact Client Success with details about what happens after you grant permission.
9. The verification option simply shows the option to take a photo of the document. There is no option to take a photo with the rear camera, only with the selfie camera, so it is difficult for me to verify my account.
The available camera options depend on your device and browser.
If only the front-facing camera is available:
Check your device for a camera switch option within the verification screen.
Rotate your device if using a mobile browser.
Try a different mobile browser.
Use another device that provides access to both front and rear cameras.
If you are unable to access the rear camera after trying these steps, contact Client Success for assistance.
