Seller-Provided Confirmation Page

Learn how to provide your own customized confirmation page to your customers

Updated today

Overview

This feature is admin-controlled. Contact ClickBank if you want access to this feature.

NOTE: These instructions may require a basic knowledge of web development.

By default, ClickBank displays a confirmation page to each customer after they purchase a product. For a product sold individually, this confirmation page is displayed after the order form; for an upsell flow, it is displayed after the final step in the upsell flow.

If you choose, you can skip this default confirmation page, and instead provide the customer with confirmation information on your thank you page. This process is referred to as a Seller Provided Confirmation Page.

You can obtain the order information using Query String Parameters or Instant Notifications.

When you skip the confirmation page, customers are directed to the your thank you page for the initial product they purchased. For example:

  • If a customer purchases one product independently, they are taken to the product thank you page.

  • If a customer purchases one or more products in an upsell flow, they are taken to the thank you page for the first product that they bought.

  • If a customer purchases multiple products in a cart, they are taken to the thank you page for the first product.

You can encrypt the parameters passed to the seller-provided confirmation page if you want to avoid including personally identifiable information (PII) in the URL. See the Encrypting Passed Parameters article for more information.
