Legacy Integrations
All integrations created prior to this update will remain as is and continue to function. If you created an integration with a developer key, your integration will work as expected. There is no need to regenerate any of your API keys.
Third Party Partners
Removing the requirement for developer keys will not break any existing integrations. However, you may want to update your client-facing documentation and integration user experience to better reflect the current ClickBank integration requirements.
If you wish to maintain the current documentation and integration UX, please inform your clients that the ClickBank developer key is no longer required and that they may use this captain API developer key: DEV-123456789012345678901234567890123456.
Using this captain API developer key WILL NOT jeopardize the privacy and security of the integration.
If you have any questions about our API Management updates, please reach out to partners@clickbank.com.
New Integrations
Going forward, all integrations completed by ClickBank Clients will only require one API key that is created in the primary ClickBank account from the API Management section.
If you are using an integration that requires a ClickBank developer API key (aka DEV Key) please use this captain API Key: DEV-123456789012345678901234567890123456.
This key can be used as a stand-in developer API key while our integration partners update their ClickBank integrations. Using this captain Developer API key WILL NOT jeopardize the privacy and security of your data.
ClickBank Clients Without a Primary Account
To complete an integration, ClickBank Clients must have a primary account.
