Marketplace Feed

The Marketplace feed is a file containing an XML representation of the ClickBank Marketplace. It is intended for individuals who would like to have access to the full Marketplace without having to "scrape" it from the site.

The Marketplace feed is updated every day at approximately 5:00 a.m. PT. The file is in Zip format to reduce its size during download. The file must be unzipped using a tool such as Winzip before it can be parsed or viewed.

You can access the Marketplace feed using this link: https://accounts.clickbank.com/feeds/marketplace_feed_v2.xml.zip

The Marketplace feed is not an RSS feed and should not be viewed directly with a browser.

The Description contains what I would see if I logged into CB marketplace though. Is there a file with the sales pitches and "feature boasting" descriptions?

     Thank you.

    Glenn,

We only have the one Marketplace feed file. If you want information beyond what's in that file, you'll have to go to the live site.

    Hi,

    Jurijs,

The only resources we have available for viewing the Marketplace contents at present are the Marketplace Feed and the Marketplace itself.

Hello, I've been asking for several years, if you would be so kind as to add an attribute to the XML feed to show which languages (of the four) the products are in.

You've always replied to me that you will pass the request to your developers and I never got any success.

This is a pretty useful feature don't you think ?

We can filter by supported languages in the marketplace search engine, but this information is not available in the XML catalog feed.

Am I really the only one to ask for this simple feature to implement ?

    Damien,

I don't know if other folks have asked for it, but I think that would be a useful feature. I will raise the issue.

Hello Owen, thank you for raising the issue, but as you will see, nothing will be done.

I don't understand why, it is so easy, one line of code to add and it won't disturb existing code using the catalog XML feed.

    Ahmed,

You can use the Marketplace feed's xml file to import content, but you need to be familiar with xml to do so.

If you're unfamiliar with the xml used in the Marketplace feed, you can use the Marketplace itself instead.

I want to upload all ClickBank products to my affiliate website.

I have used your XML feed to Get Product Title and Description. I'm interested if there is any way how I can generate hop link automatically for every 10k products what I see in your XML file?

    Ahmed,

You have to unzip the file and open it using a tool capable of handling large xml files. I'll help you however I can if that's not working for you. In the meantime you can use the Marketplace itself to access the information.

    Jurijs,

We don't have a tool to automatically generate HopLinks at that scale, no. The Using HopLinks page discusses our available options, which all generate HopLinks one at a time. The Marketplace feed contains the vendor account nicknames, though, so you could create a tool to generate the HopLinks if you wanted.

    Ahmed,

I'll look into providing additional information, or a video, about potential ways to use the Marketplace feed. In the meantime, you may want to file a support ticket for more assistance.

Hello Owen, so did you get any feedback regarding having the supported languages for each product in the marketplace feed file ? I see that two new languages have been added to clickbank, Italian and Portuguese, but still no language attribute in the XML catalog.

Even Aweber finally came around to translating their confirmation message, after years of requests, so Clickbank can do this too, it's not impossible. But when? :-)

    Damien,

I've discussed it with our devs but, as you note, it hasn't been done yet. I'll mention it to them again.

When you discussed with your devs, did they mention that it wasn't a good idea because of some issue ?

I know it will increase the file size because XX XXX products will have one more attribute, but did they say this is the main issue for not doing it ?

Because if so, you could suggest to them to have 2 versions of the marketplace feed available, one like it is and one with the languages and why not also the categories for each product. So that the markeplace feed will stay the same, but the new/added file will be available for those who want more informations per product despite the larger file size.

    Sahil,

The Marketplace feed is just a way of looking at the products in the Marketplace. If you want to promote products, you use HopLinks.
