ClickBank vendors can offer a free trial of a product to let customers try it before they commit to purchasing it. If you wish to offer a free trial of a product, you cannot edit the product in order to add a trial time because once a product with a recurring payment element is added to your account, the terms cannot be changed. Therefore, it is important to add a free trial before the product has been approved. Otherwise, you must add a new product with the free trial period to your account.
When you create a free trial, the customer will not be charged initially. Then, after a trial time that the vendor determines, the customer will be charged, and then-depending on the recurring element of the product, charged according to the recurring frequency.
ClickTip: This feature is a vendor-enabled feature which means that the vendor has the power to turn it on and off. To learn more about how to enable features, CLICK HERE to read a Knowledge Base article.
