Vendor-Provided Confirmation Page

You can provide your own confirmation page, instead of using the confirmation page generated by ClickBank.

Overview

By default, ClickBank displays a confirmation page to each customer after they purchase a product. For a product sold individually, this confirmation page is displayed after the order form; for an upsell flow, it is displayed after the final step in the upsell flow.

If you choose, you can skip this confirmation page, and instead provide the customer with confirmation information on your Thank You page. You can obtain the order information using Query String Parameters or Instant Notifications.

When you skip the confirmation page, customers are taken to a thank you page based on the type of purchase:

  • If a customer purchases one product independently, they are taken to the product thank you page.
  • If a customer purchases one or more products in an upsell flow, they are taken to the thank you page for the last product that they bought.
  • If a customer purchases multiple products in a cart, they are taken to the thank you page for the first product.

Using Your Own Confirmation Page

If you want to use your own confirmation page, you can change your site, product, and upsell flow properties to skip the ClickBank confirmation page in some or all cases.

Enabling Your Confirmation Page in Site Properties

You can edit your account settings to display the ClickBank confirmation page for all products, for no products, or for some products based on their product settings.

  1. Log in to your ClickBank account.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click My Site.
  4. In the Advanced Tools section, click Edit.
  5. Select an option:
    • Disable order confirmation for all products – This setting skips the ClickBank-provided confirmation page for all products, including those within an upsell flow.
    • Show confirmation page for all products – This setting uses the ClickBank-provided confirmation page in all cases, unless an upsell flow is set not to display it. This is the default setting. If you use this setting, you can override the setting for specific upsell flows.
    • Use the per-product level settings – This setting uses the product and upsell flow settings to determine whether to display the ClickBank confirmation page. If you use this setting, you can use the procedures below to skip the ClickBank-provided confirmation page for specific products and upsell flows.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Enabling Your Confirmation Page For a Product

You can set a product to skip the ClickBank confirmation page. This setting is only used if your account is set to use the per-product level settings.

  1. Log in to your ClickBank account.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click My Products.
  4. Locate the product and click the Edit icon.
  5. In the Product Delivery Details section, check the Hide ClickBank Order Confirmation Page checkbox.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Enabling Your Confirmation Page for an Upsell Flow

You can set an upsell flow to skip the ClickBank confirmation page. This setting is used if your account is set to use the per-product level settings or if it is set to show the confirmation page for all products.

  1. Log in to your ClickBank account.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click My Products.
  4. Click PitchPlus Upsell Flows.
  5. Locate the upsell flow and click the Edit icon.
  6. At the top, check the Hide the confirmation page for this flow checkbox.
  7. Click Save Changes.
